Vale - Voise’s Bay Mine Expansion Project – 6 New Port Fuel Storage Tanks

Project Scope

Vale Newfoundland and Labrador currently operates an open pit mine and a concentrator plant at Voisey’s Bay. Voisey’s Bay is located in Canada, on the north coast of Labrador, approximately 350 km north of Goose Bay and 35 km south of Nain. The expansion of the mine is being conducted under the Voisey’s Bay Mine Expansion Project which required the design, fabrication, and shipment by barge, 6 New Diesel Storage Tanks, 60 ft diameter x 50 ft high to add additional 21 million liters of capacity to the site.
