Project Scope
This project was to modularize a water separation unit that was installed adjacent an existing Air Liquide Hydrogen Facility in Hamilton, Ontario that separated Deuterium (2H or D) from the process for AECL’s Heavy Water (D2O) production. The modular units were later moved to AECL’s Chalk River Facility. LGL’s scope included the supply, fabrication, pre-assembly of all piping and equipment, shipment, and final installation of the Modular Process Units at Air Liquide’s Facility in Hamilton, ON.
